“We’re observing a rise in visitors who are specifically interested in our night skies and also in our guided tours showcasing nocturnal wildlife and dark-sky experiences,” revealed Sarah Clark, CEO of Tourism Tasmania, in an interview with ABC. “While tourists are initially drawn to our natural beauty by day, they are lingering for the evening marvels like the aurora, which is a significant draw for international visitors.”
